My story is one that probably fits many women. Prior to starting a family, I worked in sales and made a good living right out of college. I loved making my own money and being independent, but always knew that I would stay home after having my first child. Being a stay at home mom is fulfilling in so many ways, but I always felt as though something was missing. I loved spending every minute with our three children, but I craved that independence and sense of accomplishment that I received from working.

As I searched for inspiration, the fashion industry continued to fill my mind. I thought my dream was to open a clothing boutique. Everything about opening a store seemed perfect except for the retail hours. That is when my husband and I came up with the idea of starting a “Home Boutique” clothing company. So many women love to shop, but either can’t find time in their day or don’t want to be in a crowded store. Southern Blu Style brings the latest fashions of a store into the comfort of your home while allowing you to shop among friends and family. It’s a ladies night out shopping in a stress free environment!

As a woman and mother, I was able to earn my own income while maintaining the flexibility to be with our family. After nearly 200 parties with women from all over the country, I have had hundreds of them ask me about selling Southern Blu Style as their path to independence. So many women feel torn between mom and career and think they have to choose. We feel blessed to have created an opportunity for women to provide for their families and do it on their own schedule. I am truly excited to share Southern Blu Style with every woman looking for more options.
